For over three decades, Chad and Valerie have built a life together grounded in faith, community service, and leadership. Married since 1996, they've raised two daughters while dedicating their careers to supporting families and young people in need.
Valerie Fincher (M.S.S.C., Licensed Professional Counselor)
Valerie's professional journey started in family counseling, where she has spent nearly 30 years supporting adolescents and their families. Since 2010, she has served as a school counselor and department chair in the Douglas County school system, while also maintaining a successful private counseling practice. Her experience extends to teaching at a private high school focused on students with behavioral disabilities. Valerie's vast experience, empathy, and expertise are the heart of Aspire Hope for Kids, where she champions the cause of empowering young people to develop resilience and the essential skills for a confident, healthy adulthood.

Dr. Chad Fincher
Chad brings to Aspire Hope for Kids more than 25 years of leadership in healthcare, blending entrepreneurial success with a passion for innovation. He founded, led, and scaled four of Colorado’s fastest-growing skilled home care and hospice agencies along the Front Range, earning a reputation for operational excellence and compassionate care. Beyond direct healthcare leadership, Chad has advised on EMR/EHR software development, consulted in the medical device industry, and now leads the creation of Care Hub, an AI-driven platform designed to improve mental health outcomes through adaptive, data-informed support.
A committed lifelong learner, Chad holds master’s degrees in healthcare management, Theology and Apologetics, and Marketing, as well as a Doctorate in Theology and Apologetics. His diverse expertise fuels a mission to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based care for children. Under his guidance, Aspire Hope for Kids is building a future where innovation, best practices, and enduring hope converge to transform young lives.

ASPIRATIONAL FOUNDERS
Chad and Valerie Fincher launched their ministry and community outreach in Orange County, California, where they transformed countless relationships through marriage counseling. Following the births of their daughters—Taylor in 2000 and Ryan in 2003—Chad partnered with Edwyn Vergeire in a venture that prompted their 2005 relocation to Colorado. There, the partners built four premier home care and hospice agencies across the Front Range, creating careers for more than 450 healthcare professionals and hundreds of administrative personnel.
As dedicated parents and community leaders, Chad and Valerie embody their faith and values daily, leveraging their extensive personal and professional experiences to guide their philanthropic endeavors. Their vision extends far beyond their family and entrepreneurial pursuits, as they continuously work to foster a culture of generosity and uplift their community.
DECADES OF EXPERIENCE & THE ROAD AHEAD
A pivotal family crisis intensified Chad and Valerie's resolve to create lasting change through Aspire Hope for Kids. Having experienced firsthand the struggle to find affordable, comprehensive support during their own hardship, they now channel that understanding into ensuring children and adolescents can access specialized trauma therapy at no cost. Their personal journey brings authentic perspective and fierce dedication to addressing this critical gap in mental health services.
In 2023, Chad sold his stakes in all four healthcare companies to devote himself fully to Aspire Hope for Kids. His business partner and closest friend, Edwyn, championed this transition with complete support.
The Finchers' complementary abilities—sharpened through personal trials, professional achievements, and family adversity—now anchor an organization committed to fostering hope and strength in young people.
