MEET OUR TEAM

Chad and Valerie Fincher have been happily married for 28 years and together for 31 years. They met in 1993, started dating, and now have two daughters. Together, they have built a life centered around shared values of community assistance and servant leadership.

Valerie Fincher (M.S.S.C., LPC), a dual-licensed counselor, began her career in family counseling. Since 2011, she has been serving adolescents and families as a school counselor in the Douglas County school system. She has also worked as a teacher at a private high school for students with behavioral disabilities. With 28 years of experience as a mental health expert, Valerie drives Aspire Hope for Kids' mission. Dr. Chad Fincher joins Aspire Hope for Kids following a long and successful career as an entrepreneur and owner-operator of four of Colorado's fastest-growing skilled home care and hospice agencies, which provided care across the entire Colorado Front Range. Chad is a lifelong learner, dedicated to ongoing and self-motivated knowledge pursuit and higher education. He holds a Doctorate in Theology and Apologetics, as well as master's degrees in Theology and Apologetics, Health Care Management, and Marketing.

ASPIRATIONAL FOUNDERS

After marrying in 1996, Chad and Valerie continued their ministry efforts through marriage counseling, positively impacting many families and couples in Orange County, CA. In 2000, they welcomed their first daughter, Taylor, followed by Ryan in 2003. During this period, Chad met his future business partner, Edwyn Vergeire, sparking a lifelong friendship. This friendship led both families to relocate to Colorado in 2005. Their partnership resulted in the establishment of  four leading home care and hospice agencies across the Colorado Front Range, which now employ over 350 healthcare professionals. To learn more about Optimal Home care and Optimal Hospice Care Click Here

Valerie and Chad, as aspirational entrepreneurs, have been described as pillars of their community. Their shared faith-based principles guide not only their work and philanthropy but also their experience in raising children. As parents, they have cultivated a loving and supportive family environment, navigating the many challenges and obstacles associated with raising a family and young adult daughters.

DECADES OF EXPERIENCE

After a traumatic event affected their family and young children, Valerie and Chad felt an increased urgency to focus their attention on Aspire Hope for Kids, utilizing their resources to provide free professional therapy to children and adolescents. While still navigating their healing journey, the family recognizes the importance of seeking support and has experienced firsthand the challenges of finding affordable and comprehensive trauma therapy during difficult times.

In 2023, Chad made a significant decision and was bought out of all four of his healthcare companies, allowing him to devote his full attention to Aspire Hope for Kids. This dream would not have been possible without the sacrifice of Chad's business partner and best friend, Edwyn, who played a crucial role in making it a reality. The diverse skill set shared between Chad and Valerie, reflecting their life experiences, strong marriage, family values, motivation, and unwavering determination, continues to be vital in providing service and support to those in need.
